Submission Preparation Checklist
Before submitting, confirm that:
- The manuscript fits the journal's scope and selected article type; it has not been formally published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal. Related earlier versions have been disclosed.
- The review manuscript is anonymous, including its file properties. A separate title page or editor-only declaration file contains the complete author and disclosure information.
- The title, abstract, keywords, manuscript language and author metadata are accurate.
- All authors have approved the submitted version, their contributions, the author list and author order.
- Author–date citations and references correspond, source details have been checked, and a consistent reference format is used.
- Tables and figures are legible, numbered and documented; required permissions for third-party material have been obtained.
- Funding, competing interests, applicable ethics and consent, author contributions and data availability have been disclosed. Substantive generative-AI use has been declared where applicable.
- The authors have read the peer-review, research-integrity, copyright, licensing and correction policies, and understand the standard APC of US$800 per accepted article and the current automatic full waiver, which reduces the amount payable to US$0.
